A lot has been achieved over the past few months.  The NCDC website has been updated with 2010 information, the Information Pack has been mailed out (over 1,200 pieces of mail), a highly qualified panel of adjudicators has been selected, the current World Professional South American Showdance Champions have been booked to perform & advertising space has been booked with TV, radio and newspaper companies. 

In addition to the wonderful trophies and/or certificates for all final place getters, $3,600 Prize money is on offer this year for the Adult Open Standard & Latin American Events sponsored by Canberra Tourism and up to $6,300 is on offer for the Professional Open Championships.  Winners of all graded events will receive a special gift pack with compliments of the Australian Dance Review.

We are excited to announce that on behalf of DanceSport Australia, the 2010 NCDC Adult Open 10 Dance Championship will be Australian representative selection event for the 2011 IDSF World Adult 10 Dance Championship.  The final of this exciting event will feature in the Saturday evening programme.  Who will win the right to represent Australia in 2011?

The excellent dance floor lighting introduced in 2008 will again be utilised in 2010 for the evening programmes.

Merchandising Space at Venue

Excellent merchandising space is available inside the venue at the upper concourse level with a view of the dance floor (most spaces).  Merchandising space is only available to advertisers in the Souvenir Programme. The cost of merchandising space (excluding advertising cost) is $330 per Stall.

Bookings are now being taken for Private lessons with our visiting International Professional Latin American Super Stars Riccardo Cocchi and Yulia Zagoruychenko. 

Riccardo & Yulia are two of the World's leading exponents of Latin American dancing.  This is a fabulous opportunity to learn from the World's best! 

The cost for a 45 minute lesson with Riccardo or Yulia will be $A190 per couple or $A220 for an individual.

The 2010 NCDC Adult Open Ten Dance Championship covers all 5 of the standard Ballroom dances (Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep) as well as the 5 standard Latin American dances (Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble & Jive).  The final of this exciting event will feature during the Saturday evening programme of the 2010 NCDC.
